The rise in cases highlights and suggest increased awareness about sexual harassment and the availability of platforms to report the complaints.
There is a great degree of confusion among sections of employees and internal committee members about what complaints should come under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (POSH) Act. This is also contributing to a higher number of cases being lodged with internal committees of companies that are not prima facie cases of sexual harassment.

POSH trainings foster a culture of respect, equality, and accountability, reducing the occurrence of sexual harassment in the workplace.
