POSH annual report

How to file the POSH annual report and stay compliant with the law.

The Internal Complaints Committee is required to prepare for each calendar year, an annual report and submit the same to the employer and the District Officer.

  • The annual report mentions the number of cases filed and disposed of.
  • The number of workshops or awareness programs carried out by the organization.

The regulatory authorities can call any employer to furnish any information relating to POSH records at any time and the employer will be bound to co-operate.

A defaulter may be subject to a penalty of up to INR 50,000 and in case of repeated defaults, the amount can exceed to double the amount and can even lead to cancellation of license or non-renewal of registration.

I shall assist the IC to draft and file the annual report with the District officer for each calendar year.
